Sneaky stray cat disappears after being trapped and adopted into Canadian cat lover’s home, causing reset of trap and capture of second feral feline, after which original cat comes crawling out of basement, making them an instantly happy fur family

Cat Distribution System deliveries can be some of the strangest feline-hooman meet cutes and this double delivery is certainly one for the record books.

For after going through a classic feral feline capture and rehabilitation this cat pawrent thought that their time with troubled felines was over. That from that point onwards they would be dealing with a decently well behaved feline who enjoys living indoors with them. However, old habits dissipate slowly and before long the cat she painstakingly worked on acclimating to her home went MIA. And as any reasonable pawrent would do she set up the trap once more to capture the catto she was sure had run away.

However, as fate would have it this was a Cat Distribution System trick designed to capture a second feral feline to join the first one who had been hiding in the basement tearing up the insulation while trying to chase mice. And with stories like this you can start to see where the creators of shows like Looney Tunes got their inspawration.

  • You have just got to love the drama of cats. Especially the outdoor ones who get so shocked by being brought indoors that they would be unhinged enough to go on hunger strike. Not realizing that in doing so they are actually being the most privileged that they could possibly be because the moment they break the strike they will be in a place that has a never ending amount of food in it. It's like being taken to a food court and not eating because you want to go outside to dig through trash.

  • Such classic cat behavior, this feral feline has no idea how good she has it and how grateful she should be. It is completely wild that these cats can be so dimwitted for such intelligent creatures. But that is one of the many things that we so deeply love about our cat children at the end of the day. And one day very soon that plentiful food and plush cat tree will be received with great pleasure and pride. Just not today, today ignorance has been chosen and will continue to be chosen until this outdoor cat finally breaks and admits that it likes the soft, cushy life of an indoor cat.
